Construction Manager – Gulf Coast Region

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager to lead our civil construction projects across the Gulf Coast region, primarily in South Louisiana and Texas. The role involves strategic oversight of operations and estimating teams, ensuring safety, quality, and timely delivery while traveling to various sites as required.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement operational and estimating strategies, including robust risk‑mitigation plans.
• Manage all on‑site personnel, subcontractors, and vendors, and conduct regular safety meetings.
• Review permit requirements, coordinate with local jurisdictions, and ensure compliance.
• Support Project Management in schedule updates, project close‑out, and record‑drawing coordination.
• Oversee quality control, address deviations, and enforce corrective actions.
• Attend OSHA inspections, safety audits, progress meetings, and final walk‑throughs.
• Approve field PTO requests and provide post‑job reviews to executive management.
• Identify high‑risk areas, develop mitigation plans, and drive continuous improvement.
• Prepare written reports, gather field feedback, and present insights to senior leadership.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of hands‑on experience as a Project Construction Manager.
• Ability to pass a drug test and background check.
• Strong commitment to safety and participation in SSHE programs.
• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
• Willingness to travel frequently across the Southern United States.
• Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
