Construction Laborer – Big Lake, AK

About the role

We are seeking a reliable Construction Laborer to join our team in Big Lake, AK. The role involves supporting various utility and construction projects, moving between tasks as site demands change, and working with minimal supervision.

Key responsibilities

• Measure distances, drive and stretch stakes, and set tight lines for grading.
• Install, bolt, nail, align, and block forms; signal equipment operators for precise alignment.
• Level earth to fine‑grade specifications and mix, finish, and smooth concrete.
• Position, join, align, and seal pipe sections; erect scaffolding, shoring, and braces.
• Apply paints, bituminous compounds, caulking, and other protective coatings.
• Grind, sand, or polish surfaces such as concrete, marble, terrazzo, or wood flooring.
• Perform demolition, saw lumber, dismantle forms, and install pipe hangers.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• At least one (1) year of construction laborer experience.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record for the past three years (preferred for company vehicle use).

• Concrete mixing and finishing.
