Construction Foreman II – I-10 Bridge Project

About the role

The Construction Foreman II will support Louisiana Bridge Builders on the I-10 Calcasieu River Bridge project in Lake Charles, LA. You will plan, organize, manage and actively participate in daily onsite activities to ensure the project stays on schedule, within budget, and meets safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Directly supervise and coordinate crew activities, stepping in to perform trade work when needed.
• Prepare and submit daily reports, job quantities, timesheets, and management reports for LADOTD and the developer.
• Oversee daily operations and maintenance, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and OSHA standards.
• Track equipment performance, identify issues, and implement efficiency improvements.
• Respond quickly to breakdowns or emergencies, mobilizing resources to restore safe operations.
• Assist in contractual compliance, safety and environmental programs, and regulatory adherence.
• Hire, train, motivate, and evaluate team members, handling performance actions and career development.
• Maintain inventory of tools, parts, and consumables to prevent interruptions.
• Perform any other duties assigned by management.

Required profile

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with standard computer applications for reporting and data tracking.
• Solid understanding of company safety policies, OSHA regulations, and environmental standards.
• Ability to lead, coach, and manage a diverse crew.

Required skills

• Computer literacy (e.g., Microsoft Office or similar reporting tools).
