About the role

Marshall Dennehey, an Am Law 200 civil defense firm, is seeking an experienced construction defect litigator to join its Orlando office. The role involves handling complex construction cases for Fortune 500 clients with substantial autonomy.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate liability and damages and prepare detailed client reports.
• Take and defend depositions, draft and argue substantive and dispositive motions.
• Manage all aspects of high‑exposure construction litigation through trial.
• Collaborate with colleagues and mentor junior attorneys as needed.

Required profile

• 5‑10 years of civil litigation experience, preferably in construction defect matters.
• Comfortable navigating Florida’s Chapter 558 process.
• Strong judgment, organization, and strategic thinking skills.

Required skills

• Expertise in civil litigation and construction defect law.
• Proficiency in taking depositions and drafting motions.
• Experience managing cases from inception to trial.
