Conflicts Analyst / Attorney

About the role

Join the Intake Team at a global law firm as a Conflicts Analyst/Attorney. You will work closely with attorneys and the Conflict & Intake department to review new business, identify potential conflicts, and ensure compliance with firm policies.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze legal conflicts, ethical rules, and policy requirements to evaluate conflict checks.
• Identify “stop issues” such as business‑risk policies, pending lateral moves, or matters involving significant clients.
• Communicate with lateral attorney candidates to gather accurate client and party information.
• Administer the conflicts review process and resolve issues according to firm policies.
• Conduct data analysis and research using electronic databases.
• Document processes, maintain records of conflict‑related information, and capture institutional knowledge.
• Present concise conflict summaries to attorneys and elevate unresolved or non‑responsive issues.
• Identify and escalate ethical conflicts to the requesting attorney.
• Support additional department activities as needed.
