Configuration Management Specialist

About the role

CACI is seeking a Configuration Management Specialist for its Global Mission Operations Support (GMOS) contract supporting the Department of State. The role provides technical and management leadership for configuration management (C/CM) across a global enterprise computing environment, within a full-time position requiring a minimum Secret clearance and up to 10% local travel.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical and management leadership for C/CM assessments across the global enterprise computing environment.
• Establish enterprise site topology configuration standards, change management processes and logical model frameworks for all service area devices and relationships.
• Direct master data management techniques for configuration baseline reconciliation and establish baseline documentation for all systems and applications.
• Set up Change Management Control Board processes, including impact analysis and risk assessment.
• Lead C/CM reporting on change success rates, configuration compliance and baseline drift.
• Apply DevSecOps tooling and design CI/CD pipelines covering continuous build, test, security validation and results analysis.
• Provide technical leadership on major assignments, setting goals and plans with responsibility for financial management, methods and staffing.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree plus 13 years of relevant experience (equivalencies considered).
• Active Secret clearance.
• Extensive experience leading enterprise configuration management across complex IT infrastructure, systems, applications and services.
• Experience with CMDB architecture, data reconciliation, discovery, configuration audits and audit data integrity.
• Experience managing Change Control/Configuration Control Board processes, including technical impact analysis, risk assessment and approval workflows.
• Ability to lead engineering, operations, cybersecurity, development and program management teams.

Required skills

• IT Service Management platforms and methodologies, including integration of configuration, change, incident, problem and asset management.
• DevSecOps, Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD pipelines.
• Ansible, Terraform, SonarQube or similar configuration automation tools.
• Desired: ServiceNow CMDB, Discovery, Change Management and IT Asset Management; ITIL, ServiceNow, DevSecOps or related certification.
