Configuration and Data Management Specialist

About the role

MANTECH seeks a Configuration and Data Management Specialist to support the NSSL Program at Los Angeles Air Force Base, providing critical data and configuration management for national security space missions.

Key responsibilities

• Acquire and distribute technical and programmatic Contract Data Items (CDI) from launch service providers to government evaluators.
• Track CDI deliverables from receipt through close‑out and maintain CM/DM status databases.
• Operate and manage the NSSL Program support library and data repository.
• Provide technical writing support, drafting plans, processes, reports, operating instructions and training materials.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of experience in technical document development, data management, configuration management, or related engineering fields.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret‑level security clearance.
• Critical thinking and problem‑solving skills.
