Concessions Cook - Gorge Amphitheater

About the role

The Concessions Cook at Gorge Amphitheater prepares and cooks food items that deliver high quality taste and appearance, satisfying guests and maximizing food revenues. The employer is Legends Global, a hospitality and events agency with experience in professional sports, collegiate, attractions, entertainment, international and convention venues.

Key responsibilities

• Observe and practice all established health and sanitation procedures.
• Prepare, hold and serve products at the correct temperatures, with proper rotation, labeling and dating.
• Use the right utensils and portions, and keep the work area clean, sanitized and organized.
• Keep management informed of food quantities and quality in prep, on the line and in holding cabinets.
• Coordinate orders so they are cooked on time and accurately, and help restock paper supplies and food items.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as set out in the Employee Training Manual, and follow food-handling and kitchen hygiene practices.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and complete safety training.
• May be assigned to work multiple stations during a shift and assist other positions when needed.

Required profile

• At least 6 months of experience preparing food in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to communicate verbally and listen attentively to co-workers and supervisors.
• Able to follow written and oral directions and work under pressure independently.

What we offer

• Pay of $20-$21 per hour.
