Concessions Attendant - Part-Time On-Call

About the role

The Branson Convention Center is hiring part-time, on-call Concessions Attendants. The position suits someone with customer service skills, a positive attitude and basic food preparation skills, who helps prepare the location and area for day-to-day operation, handles accurate accounting and transactions, and assists with inventory controls.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain rules and regulations, health and sanitation laws, and safe storage procedures
• Keep the work area safe and sanitary
• Maintain inventory and supplies at assigned locations
• Set up and break down the assigned concession stand or cart
• Handle payments and inventory according to company policy and complete paperwork
• Prepare basic food and serve customers' food orders promptly
• Clean and maintain concession stands
• Keep accurate cash-handling procedures and interact with customers professionally
• If serving alcohol, hold a SMART license
• Perform other duties as assigned

Required profile

• High School Diploma or GED
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, detail-oriented and organized
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a positive customer service attitude
• Ability to receive and follow instructions promptly
• Neat appearance and eagerness to learn
• English spoken and understood

Required skills

• Basic working knowledge of food and beverages
• Basic food preparation skills
• Basic math ability to count and handle money accurately
• Standing for the duration of a shift and lifting 55 lbs
