Concession Stand Attendant

About the role

The Concession Stand Attendant operates the Jefferson RISE concession stand during athletic and school events, providing food and beverage service to students, families, staff, and guests.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and prepare the concession stand before each event.
• Stock, organize, and monitor food, beverage, and supply inventory.
• Sell and serve approved items, processing cash and POS transactions.
• Handle and secure concession funds throughout the shift.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized concession area.
• Complete end‑of‑game reporting, including inventory and restocking needs.
• Communicate any supply, equipment, or operational concerns to the Athletic Director.
• Perform cleanup, store remaining products, and secure equipment after each event.

Required profile

• Dependable with punctual attendance for assigned events.
• Available to work evenings and occasional weekends.
• Basic math and organizational abilities for cash handling.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and follow established procedures.

Required skills

• Accurate cash handling and point‑of‑sale transaction processing.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift/stock concession supplies.
