Computer Information Systems Instructor – CFE & BHI

About the role

The Computer Information Systems Instructor will deliver high‑quality instruction in the Computer Information Systems program across multiple campuses and online. This role supports the college’s mission to provide equitable education to a diverse student body.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver classroom and online instruction in Computer Information Systems, applying effective teaching techniques.
• Develop, administer, and grade assessments while maintaining accurate grade books and records.
• Follow approved course syllabi and ensure compliance with accreditation standards.
• Complete all required documentation for assigned courses in a timely manner.
• Maintain an accurate inventory of instructional property and equipment.
• Teach at both the Ben Hill‑Irwin (BHI) and Coffee campuses, with occasional travel between sites.

Required profile

• Earned Master’s degree in Computer Information Systems or a closely related field.
• Demonstrated experience in the Computer Information Systems discipline.
• Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Commitment to supporting students from underrepresented gender, minority groups, and those with disabilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively across multiple campuses and adapt to hybrid teaching environments.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of Computer Information Systems concepts and practices.
