Composite & Bonding Specialist Manager

About the role

The Composite & Bonding Specialist Manager leads a team responsible for fabricating and assembling complex aerostructures. This position ensures that all manufacturing activities meet product specifications, quality standards, and customer acceptance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a team in developing solutions to complex manufacturing problems, using ingenuity and creativity.
• Oversee assembly of components, joining of metallic and non‑metallic structural assemblies, and installation of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Coordinate with engineering, management, suppliers, and customers to meet product requirements.
• Manage testing of completed units with mechanical, electrical, and electronic test equipment.
• Perform additional duties as assigned, including cost monitoring and project management.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, including cross‑functional collaboration.
• At least 5 years in a leadership or management role.
• High school diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• U.S. citizenship required; ability to travel up to 5% domestically/internationally.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience using SAP.
