Compliance Nurse 2 – Long-Term Care (Metro Atlanta)

About the role

The Georgia Department of Community Health is seeking a Compliance Nurse 2 to join its Healthcare Facility Regulation Division. This home‑based position focuses on surveying long‑term care facilities across the Metro Atlanta region to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct on‑site surveys of long‑term care facilities and document findings.
• Assess compliance with applicable state and federal rules and regulations.
• Travel regionally, with up to 90% overnight travel, and work occasional weekends or after‑hours as needed.
• Prepare and submit detailed survey reports to the Division.

Required profile

• Registered Professional Nurse (RN) or a Bachelor’s degree in nursing from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of five (5) years experience as a Registered Nurse.
• Ability to travel extensively and work independently.
