Compliance Coordinator (Compliance Analyst)

About the role

The State of Illinois, Department of Public Health, is hiring a Compliance Analyst (Coordinator) for the Assistant Director's Office, within the Boards and Commissions division covering the Health Facilities and Services Review Board (HFSRB). The HFSRB runs a Certificate of Need (CON) program that reviews applications for construction or expansion of health care facilities. The Compliance Analyst organizes, manages and administers the board's compliance activities as required by statute and administrative rules.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise projects for conformity with administrative rules, check whether sufficient progress has been made toward completion, and review adherence to established budgets and scope.
• Manage and oversee the compliance reporting process for annual facility data collection and projects, including setting up and implementing project status reporting.
• Ensure that developmental disability providers submit changes of ownership and that permit holders comply with all applicable processes.
• Identify non-compliance issues and carry out sanctions where needed.
• Meet and consult with the State Board Administrator, legal counsel, the Illinois Department of Public Health designee and the State Board as required.

Required profile

• Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis; the state does not sponsor employment visas.
• Bilingual skills are welcome.

What we offer

• Anticipated starting salary of $8,571 to $10,571 per month.
