Community Manager – Summit Place (Student Living)

About the role

The Community Manager will oversee day‑to‑day operations of Summit Place, a student‑living community, ensuring smooth management of staff, residents, and property resources. This position reports to senior leadership and works closely with academic institutions to support student housing needs.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and input budget forecasts by analyzing financial statements and market data.
• Achieve revenue targets by setting rent rates, collecting payments, and preparing monthly financial reports.
• Approve vendor invoices, verify insurance certificates, and coordinate with accounting.
• Control expenditures within approved budgets and manage petty‑cash funds.
• Oversee lease enforcement, including application approvals, renewals, inspections, evictions, and fee collection.
• Maintain compliance with Fair Housing, ADA, Fair Credit Reporting Act, and other regulations.
• Build relationships with university housing and student affairs officials.

Required profile

• Prior experience in student housing or multifamily property management.
• Strong understanding of relevant housing laws and regulations.
• Proven ability to manage teams and meet financial performance goals.
