Community Manager – Stamford, CT

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Community Manager to oversee day‑to‑day operations of an assigned high‑rise residential property in Stamford, CT. The role combines property management, financial oversight, and resident relations to ensure the community runs smoothly and meets performance targets.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in developing the property budget by reviewing financial statements, market data and operational reports.
• Achieve revenue targets by setting rent rates, collecting rent and fees, processing deposits and preparing monthly financial reports.
• Approve vendor invoices, verify insurance certificates, code expenses to the appropriate chart of accounts and coordinate with accounting and owners.
• Manage the lease enforcement process, including reviewing applications, approving discounts, conducting inspections, issuing notices, handling evictions and collecting late fees.
• Monitor market and economic trends, and implement short‑ and long‑term marketing and leasing strategies to maximize occupancy.

Required profile

• Prior experience managing high‑rise residential properties.
• Strong understanding of Fair Housing, ADA, Fair Credit Reporting Act and other multi‑family housing regulations.
• Ability to analyze financial data and control expenditures within approved budgets.
