Community Manager – South Shore, MA

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Community Manager to oversee day‑to‑day operations of an assigned multifamily property on the South Shore, MA. You will lead the on‑site team, ensure financial targets are met, and maintain compliance with all relevant housing regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily property operations, team members, and resources to achieve budgeted financial and operational goals.
• Develop and monitor property budgets, analyze financial statements, and prepare monthly financial reports.
• Oversee rent collection, bank deposits, and ensure timely posting of fees.
• Approve vendor invoices, verify insurance certificates, and coordinate with accounting.
• Control expenditures, manage petty cash, and stay within approved budget limits.
• Handle lease enforcement, resident applications, renewals, inspections, evictions, and collection of late fees.
• Analyze market trends and implement short‑ and long‑range marketing and leasing strategies to meet occupancy and revenue targets.
• Promote resident satisfaction and retention through responsive service.

Required profile

• Experience managing multifamily property operations.
• Strong knowledge of Fair Housing, ADA, Fair Credit Reporting Act, and other housing regulations.
• Ability to analyze financial data and develop budgets.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with property management software (if mentioned by employer).
• Understanding of accounting principles related to rent collection and invoicing.
