Community Manager (Social Media)

About the role

We are seeking a thoughtful and highly organized Community Manager to lead our social media presence at Arcaea, a fast‑growing, founder‑led hair‑care brand that blends biotechnology with design. In this role you will shape how our audience experiences the brand across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and other platforms, ensuring every interaction feels premium, authentic and supportive.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor, moderate and respond to comments and direct messages on Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and additional social channels, including weekend coverage.
• Partner with Customer Experience to deliver timely answers to customer inquiries and flag urgent or sensitive issues.
• Identify and act on opportunities to surprise and delight community members through authentic engagement.
• Track brand mentions, creator content and cultural conversations to surface trends, feedback and growth opportunities.
• Escalate legal, safety, misinformation or crisis‑related matters to the appropriate internal teams.
• Report on community sentiment and recurring themes to inform marketing, product and CX strategies.
• Publish and schedule social‑first content, capture behind‑the‑scenes footage with an iPhone, and edit Instagram Stories, Reels and TikToks for each platform.
• Stay current on emerging platform features, trends and new engagement formats.

Required profile

• Exceptional judgment and strong writing ability.
• Genuine enthusiasm for engaging with online audiences.
• Comfort representing a high‑profile founder and celebrity‑backed brand.
• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions about when to respond or defer.

Required skills

• Proficiency in using Instagram, TikTok and YouTube for community interaction.
• Experience creating and editing short‑form video content (Stories, Reels, TikToks).
• Familiarity with iPhone video capture and basic mobile editing tools.
