Community Manager – Residential Property

About the role

The Community Manager will oversee the day‑to‑day operations of a stabilized 244‑unit property in Marina del Rey. You will lead the on‑site team, manage financial performance, and ensure compliance with all relevant housing regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily property operations, team members, and resources to meet budgeted financial and operational goals.
• Develop and monitor budgets, analyze financial statements, and prepare monthly financial reports.
• Set rent rates, collect rent and fees, process bank deposits, and ensure timely posting.
• Approve vendor invoices, verify insurance certificates, and code charges to the appropriate Chart of Accounts.
• Control expenditures, maintain petty‑cash fund, and stay within approved budget limits.
• Oversee lease enforcement, approve resident applications, conduct inspections, handle evictions, and collect late fees.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of Community Manager experience, preferably with large and complex communities.
• Familiarity with property renovations and affordable‑housing projects.
