Community Manager - Montgomery County

About the role

The Community Manager for Montgomery County will oversee the daily operations of an assigned multifamily property within Greystar’s portfolio. Reporting to senior management, the role combines financial oversight, leasing administration, and resident relations to ensure the property meets its budgeted performance and compliance standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day property operations, including team supervision and resource allocation.
• Provide input on property budgets by analyzing financial statements and market data.
• Achieve revenue targets by setting rent rates, collecting payments, and preparing monthly financial reports.
• Approve vendor invoices, verify insurance certificates, and coordinate coding to the appropriate chart of accounts.
• Control expenditures and manage petty‑cash funds within approved budgets.
• Oversee lease enforcement: approve applications, process renewals, conduct inspections, issue notices, and manage evictions and late fees.
• Monitor market and economic trends to develop short‑ and long‑term leasing and marketing strategies.
• Promote resident satisfaction through responsive service and community initiatives.

Required profile

• Experience in multifamily property management or community management.
• Strong understanding of Fair Housing, ADA, Fair Credit Reporting Act, and related regulations.
• Proven ability to manage budgets, financial reporting, and vendor relationships.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
