Community Manager – Kaulana Mahina

About the role

The Community Manager for the Kaulana Mahina property will oversee daily operations of a 324‑unit garden‑style community in Wailuku, Hawaii. Reporting to senior management, you will lead the on‑site team, coordinate activities, and ensure the property meets its financial and operational targets while complying with Fair Housing, ADA, and other regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day operations of the assigned property, including staffing, maintenance coordination, and resident services.
• Monitor and achieve budgeted financial performance, reviewing financial statements and expense reports.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, Fair Housing, Americans with Disabilities Act, Fair Credit Reporting Act, and other applicable laws.
• Develop and implement resident engagement programs to enhance community satisfaction.
• Prepare regular operational reports for senior leadership.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Business Management, Real Estate, or a related field.
• 4–6 years of relevant experience in property or community management (or 1–2 years as noted in the posting).
• Strong knowledge of multi‑family housing regulations and best practices.

Required skills

• Financial analysis and budgeting.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing, ADA, and Fair Credit Reporting Act.
