Community Manager

About the role

Starform Inc. is seeking a passionate Community Manager to act as the bridge between the Metalstorm player base and the development team. This on‑site position in Seattle offers high ownership over the game’s Discord and Reddit presence, player communications, and live‑stream events.

Key responsibilities

• Engage daily with the Metalstorm community across Discord, Reddit, Facebook Groups and other social channels.
• Produce regular sentiment reports and translate player feedback into actionable recommendations for developers.
• Craft clear player‑facing communications such as patch notes, updates, announcements and community posts.
• Own and moderate Discord and Reddit communities, building relationships with moderators and creators.
• Plan and run community events including tournaments, game nights, watch parties, livestreams and AMAs.
• Develop and maintain a livestream calendar, appearing on‑camera as a studio representative.
• Manage the content creator program, supporting creator‑generated content and highlights.
• Collaborate with Customer Support and Development to triage bugs and live‑service incidents.
• Assist the creative team with scripting videos for updates and behind‑the‑scenes content.
• Stay up‑to‑date with community‑management tools, trends and AI‑driven workflows.

Required profile

• Strong familiarity with Discord, Reddit and modern community platforms.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to synthesize large volumes of feedback into clear insights.
• Experience working cross‑functionally with development, support, marketing and product teams.
• Comfortable appearing on camera and representing the studio publicly.
