Community Manager

About the role

Nexon America is seeking a Community Manager to help build and nurture the online player community for its upcoming MapleStory Worlds platform. The role combines moderation, content creation, and community insight to ensure a vibrant, inclusive environment for players.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive reports on player and creator feedback, issues, and trends to internal stakeholders.
• Monitor and moderate user‑generated content across Nexon‑owned (Discord, forums) and external (Reddit) channels.
• Plan, create, and publish unique community content such as assets, events, livestreams, videos, and posts.
• Lead design and execution of community engagement programs in collaboration with internal teams.
• Analyze community content and event performance to drive continuous improvement.
• Contribute to content strategy and player‑facing communications, including reactive messaging.
• Maintain positive relationships with fan sites, external forums, and other community partners.

Required profile

• Passion for gaming and a strong understanding of player communities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to monitor, moderate, and respond to user‑generated content quickly and fairly.
• Experience planning and executing community events and content.
• Analytical mindset for reporting and performance tracking.
