Community Manager (HUD) – Pines of Woodforest

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Community Manager (HUD) to oversee the day‑to‑day operations of the Pines of Woodforest property. The role will lead the on‑site team, manage financial performance, and ensure compliance with Fair Housing, the Americans with Disabilities Act, and other applicable regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Provide input to property budgets by analyzing financial statements, marketing data, and operational reports.
• Achieve targeted revenues by setting rent rates, collecting rent and fees, making bank deposits, and preparing monthly financial status reports.
• Approve vendor and contractor invoices, verify insurance certificates, code charges to the appropriate Chart of Accounts, and coordinate payments.
• Control expenditures within approved budgets and manage petty cash funds.
• Oversee lease enforcement, including application approvals, discounts, renewals, inspections, notices, evictions, and collection of late fees.
• Gather and interpret market and economic trends to develop short‑ and long‑range marketing and leasing strategies that meet occupancy and revenue goals.
• Promote resident satisfaction through effective communication and service delivery.

Required profile

• Proven experience in multi‑family property management.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing, ADA, Fair Credit Reporting Act, and related housing regulations.
• Ability to analyze financial statements, set rent rates, and manage budgets.
