Community Manager for Vara Sun Valley

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Community Manager to lead day‑to‑day operations at Vara Sun Valley, a 320‑unit garden‑style community in Indian Trail, NC. The role focuses on delivering exceptional resident experiences while meeting financial and operational targets during the lease‑up phase.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily property operations, ensuring compliance with Fair Housing, ADA, and other regulatory requirements.
• Supervise and develop on‑site staff, coordinating schedules and performance.
• Manage the lease‑up process, driving occupancy goals and resident retention.
• Analyze financial statements and operational reports to contribute to budget development.
• Collaborate with marketing to align promotional activities with leasing objectives.
• Maintain property standards, addressing maintenance and service requests promptly.
• Prepare regular reports on occupancy, revenue, and operational performance for senior management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Business Management, Real Estate, or a related field.
• 4–6 years of relevant property management or community management experience.
• Strong knowledge of Fair Housing, ADA, and multi‑family housing regulations.
• Proven ability to manage budgets and achieve financial targets.
