Community Manager for High‑Rise Apartment Community

About the role

The Community Manager will oversee day‑to‑day operations of The Yard at Ivanhoe, a stabilized high‑rise apartment community with 591 units. This role ensures financial performance, resident satisfaction, and compliance with all relevant regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage the property budget, monitor revenues, set rent rates, and prepare monthly financial reports.
• Approve vendor invoices, manage petty cash, and ensure proper insurance documentation.
• Oversee lease administration, including applications, renewals, evictions, and fee collection.
• Analyze market trends to create leasing and marketing strategies that meet occupancy and revenue goals.
• Respond to resident inquiries and complaints promptly, driving satisfaction and retention.
• Conduct regular property inspections to maintain safety, cleanliness, and aesthetic standards.
• Hire, train, and supervise property staff, managing performance in line with company policies.
• Maintain owner relationships through regular updates, property tours, and responsive communication.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Business Management, Real Estate, or related field.
• 4‑6 years of property management, sales, marketing, or customer service experience.
• Strong communication, conflict‑resolution, and customer‑service abilities.
• Detail‑oriented, self‑motivated, and capable of working independently and as a team leader.

Required skills

• Proficiency with property‑management software (Entrata, Yardi, OneSite).
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, spreadsheet, and database management tools.
• Valid driver’s license for operating a golf cart on‑site.
• All required state and local licenses/certifications.

• Base salary $95,000‑$105,000 per year, plus bonus eligibility.
