Community Manager – Downtown Los Angeles

About the role

The Community Manager will oversee day‑to‑day operations of a stabilized multifamily property in downtown Los Angeles. This full‑time, onsite position ensures the property meets financial, operational, and regulatory goals while delivering excellent resident experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily property operations, team members, and resources for up to 400 units.
• Develop and monitor budgets, analyze financial performance, and provide input on budget creation.
• Ensure compliance with Fair Housing, ADA, Fair Credit Reporting Act, and other applicable laws.
• Maintain property standards, oversee maintenance requests, and coordinate with vendors.
• Foster resident satisfaction through community events and responsive service.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Business Management, Real Estate, or a related field.
• 3‑5 years of experience as a Community Manager, preferably with knowledge of LACDA and affordable housing programs.
• Strong understanding of multifamily housing regulations and budgeting processes.
• Ability to work Monday‑Friday schedule and manage a team effectively.
