Community Manager – Active Adult Community

About the role

The Community Manager leads daily operations of an Active Adult community, ensuring exceptional resident experiences, strong financial performance, and full regulatory compliance. This position serves as the primary liaison between ownership, residents, and the onsite team.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage the property budget, monitor financial performance, and prepare monthly financial reports.
• Oversee rent collection, invoice approval, and petty‑cash management while staying within budget constraints.
• Handle lease enforcement, including application approvals, renewals, inspections, evictions, and fee collection.
• Analyze market trends and implement leasing and marketing strategies to meet occupancy and revenue goals.
• Respond to resident complaints, coordinate maintenance requests, and ensure property standards for safety, cleanliness, and appearance.
• Recruit, train, and supervise onsite staff, and maintain owner relationships through regular updates and property tours.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Business Management, Real Estate, or related field.
• 4‑6 years of property management, sales, marketing, and customer‑service experience.
• Strong communication, conflict‑resolution, and customer‑service abilities.
• Detail‑oriented, self‑motivated, capable of working independently and leading a team.

Required skills

• Proficiency with property‑management software (Entrata, Yardi, OneSite).
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and general database management.
• Valid driver’s license for operating a golf cart on‑site.
