Community Assistant for Student Living Community

About the role

The Community Assistant supports the property management team in delivering exceptional resident experiences and achieving occupancy goals at the Union Baseline student living community.

Key responsibilities

• Perform administrative tasks for the leasing office, including copying documents, filing resident files, preparing notices, handling calls, and organizing rent payments.
• Assist with sales and leasing activities by conducting virtual tours, responding to online inquiries, greeting and qualifying prospects, and showing apartments.
• Generate lease paperwork, organize resident lease files, and support the lease preparation process.
• Coordinate move‑in and move‑out activities, including mandatory “turn” dates, and ensure smooth transitions for residents.
• Answer incoming calls, set appointments, and conduct on‑campus marketing outreach to generate qualified traffic.
• Help organize resident events, distribute communications such as flyers and newsletters, and conduct resident visits as directed.
• Serve as an after‑hours liaison, responding to emergencies and covering on‑call shifts as scheduled.

Required profile

• Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and on‑call shifts.
• Customer‑focused attitude with a commitment to resident satisfaction.
