About the role
The Boston Celtics are seeking a Communications & Media Services Intern for the fall semester of 2026. This part‑time role offers hands‑on experience supporting game‑night media operations, press activities, and internal communications within a high‑energy professional sports environment.
Key responsibilities
- Staff the press gate and run game‑night statistics while transcribing quotes.
- Update daily news clippings for ownership and management.
- Assist in set‑up of media areas, credentialing, and seating for home games.
- Prepare media information packets for visiting and national media.
- Support staffing of press conferences and community media events.
- Edit media materials such as program information, press releases, advisories, and the team media guide.
- Compile media tracking reports for internal and external use.
- Field inbound fan questions related to tickets and troubleshoot technical issues.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required profile
- Junior or senior undergraduate student, or graduate student.
- Eligibility to receive academic credit.
- Availability to work scheduled home games and related events during September‑December.
