Communications Coordinator – Public Relations (Hybrid, NY)

About the role

We are seeking a Communications Coordinator to join our Streaming Communications team in New York. This 12‑month contract supports public‑relations and media‑relations initiatives within the entertainment and streaming industry. The position offers a hybrid work model, allowing collaboration both on‑site and remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Support PR campaigns and communications initiatives for streaming content.
• Draft press releases, media pitches, and internal messaging documents.
• Track media coverage, compile reports, and assess campaign performance.
• Research journalists, media contacts, and identify thought‑leadership opportunities.
• Maintain project documentation, roadmaps, and communication assets.

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience in public relations, communications, marketing, or a related field.
• Proven ability to write press materials and media pitches.
• Familiarity with media databases such as Cision and/or Muck Rack.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree required.
