Commissioning Project Manager (Hybrid)

About the role

The Commissioning Project Manager will coordinate and deliver commissioning services across facility planning, design, construction, warranty, and operations for Chinook’s clients in the D.C. Metro area.

Key responsibilities

• Execute commissioning, energy management and facilities management services on multiple concurrent projects.
• Prepare commissioning plans, specifications, checklists, functional performance tests and reports.
• Conduct design, submittal and O&M manual reviews, and facilitate training.
• Perform site observations, witness functional performance testing and resolve coordination issues.
• Support bid and proposal preparation, project estimating, scheduling and status reporting.

Required profile

• Bachelor's in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or 13 years related experience).
• Minimum 8 years commissioning experience with systems such as lighting, HVAC, power distribution, UPS and emergency power.
• At least 4 years of people management and 2 years managing commissioning projects.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a Secret clearance.

• Annual salary $135,000‑$165,000 based on experience.
