Commercialization Project Manager

About the role

The Commercialization Project Manager leads cross‑functional initiatives that take new food products from concept through plant trials, scale‑up, validation and market launch. Reporting to the Sr. Commercialization Strategy Manager, this high‑visibility position ensures alignment across R&D, FSQA, Supply Chain, Operations, Marketing and Sales while driving process standardisation and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end commercialization projects for retail, industrial and food‑service channels.
• Manage multiple simultaneous projects, creating integrated plans that include timelines, risk registers, budgets and launch‑readiness criteria.
• Identify, assess and resolve project risks, bottlenecks and resource constraints.
• Develop and maintain SOPs, process documentation and improvement initiatives to build a repeatable commercialization model.
• Coordinate plant trials, scale‑up activities and validation testing to ensure product quality and regulatory compliance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Project Management, Supply Chain or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in product management, project management or commercialization.
• Experience in food manufacturing or consumer packaged goods (CPG) preferred.
• Proven ability to lead cross‑functional teams and manage complex projects.
• Experience with SOP development or process‑improvement initiatives is a plus.
