Commercial Tire Technician – Night Shift (Cleveland)

About the role

Michelin Fleet Solutions is hiring a Commercial Tire Technician in Cleveland for night shifts running Sunday night through Friday morning (11pm to 7:30am). The role covers tire services for transit, motor coach, refuse and trucking fleets. Mechanical experience is preferred but not required, as training is provided.

Key responsibilities

• Perform tire-related services safely and correctly so customers can get back on the road.
• Service commercial tires, including dismounting, mounting and repairing any type of tire.
• Perform match mounting, match mating dual assemblies and radial runout checks as needed.
• Inflate tires to the prescribed PSI per load requirements.
• Follow OSHA regulations and safety requirements, including wearing PPE and using tire cages; OSHA 10 certification is provided and paid for by the employer.
• Earn a TIA (Tire Industry Association) certification.

Required profile

• Valid driver's license and at least 18 years old.
• Able to perform manual tasks for long periods, including standing, bending, crouching, squatting and lifting up to 75 pounds; heavier lifting is supported by equipment.
• Commitment to safety procedures.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future company sponsorship.
