Commercial Roofing Account Manager

About the role

The Commercial Roofing Account Manager (CAM) acts as a trusted advisor for commercial clients, guiding them through the full lifecycle of roofing projects—from prospecting and inspections to contract execution and project completion. The CAM ensures a transparent, results‑driven experience while generating new business opportunities and collaborating closely with estimating and production teams.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, research, and pursue commercial roofing opportunities within assigned markets.
• Conduct property walks, inspections, and visual assessments to evaluate roofing conditions.
• Build and maintain relationships with property managers, facility directors, building owners, and other key stakeholders.
• Represent the company at networking events, trade shows, and community functions to generate leads.
• Educate customers on roofing solutions, restoration vs. replacement options, and insurance claim processes.
• Partner with the estimating team to prepare and present accurate proposals.
• Present contracts and guide customers through the signing process with transparency.
• Serve as the primary point of contact throughout sales and pre‑production phases.
• Coordinate with production teams to align expectations, timelines, and material requirements.

Required profile

• Proven experience in commercial sales or account management, preferably within construction or roofing.
• Strong relationship‑building and communication skills.
• Ability to assess technical roofing needs and translate them into clear proposals.
• Self‑motivated, results‑oriented, and comfortable working independently.

Required skills

• Knowledge of commercial roofing systems and industry best practices.
• Familiarity with estimating processes and contract negotiation.
• Understanding of insurance claim procedures related to roofing projects.
