Commercial Relationship Manager – East Texas

About the role

Regions is seeking a Commercial Relationship Manager to serve clients in East Texas. The role focuses on delivering tailored banking solutions to businesses with revenues up to $20 million, driving both retention and growth.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, prioritize, and develop relationship strategies for high‑value and acquisition targets.
• Provide knowledgeable advice, institutionalize client relationships, and optimize revenue opportunities.
• Detect emerging client needs and proactively introduce appropriate solutions.
• Collaborate with internal partners using a team‑based delivery model.
• Plan and execute quality client and prospect calls centered on advisory delivery.
• Manage transaction processes from engagement through close, including structuring, pricing, approvals, compliance, and documentation.
• Apply credit acumen and pricing discipline throughout the sales cycle.
• Develop consistent practices based on the Relationship Management Process and credit training.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree plus at least two years of commercial banking experience, or four years in a related client‑facing financial‑services role.
• Alternatively, a high‑school diploma/GED with six years of commercial banking experience, or eight years in a related field.
• Preference for candidates with commercial banking, relationship management, or credit/analyst experience.
