Commercial Litigation Associate – Miami

About the role

We are seeking a 4th‑5th year Commercial Litigation Associate to join our fast‑paced Miami office. You will work on complex business disputes, collaborating closely with partners and clients across both state and federal courts.

Key responsibilities

• Manage written and document discovery
• Draft pleadings, motions, and other court filings
• Conduct and defend depositions
• Prepare witnesses for testimony
• Appear for status conferences and motion arguments in court
• Assist with trial preparation and litigation strategy
• Participate in settlement discussions and negotiations

Required profile

• 4–5 years of experience in commercial or complex business litigation
• Strong legal writing and oral advocacy skills
• Experience in both state and federal court litigation
• Ability to manage workload in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment
• Comfortable with direct interaction with partners and clients
• JD from an ABA‑accredited law school
• Active membership and good standing with the Florida Bar (or eligibility for timely admission)
• Spanish language proficiency (written and verbal) strongly preferred
