Commercial Lines Product Owner – Hybrid (Boston or Webster)

About the role

MAPFRE is seeking a Product Owner to lead the vision, strategy, and execution of its Commercial Lines insurance products. This high‑visibility position connects business strategy with technical delivery, partnering across IT, underwriting, claims, actuarial, operations, marketing, and customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Own and drive the product vision and roadmap for Commercial Lines offerings.
• Define and execute product strategy aligned with company goals, customer needs, and market opportunities.
• Develop business cases for new products and enhancements.
• Lead the end‑to‑end product lifecycle from ideation through launch, optimization, and retirement.
• Prioritize features, translate business needs into requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Manage and refine the product backlog to support Agile development cycles.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with IT, underwriting, actuarial, marketing, operations, and claims.
• Use customer insights and market intelligence to enhance product competitiveness.
• Oversee release planning, version management, and delivery sequencing.

Required profile

• Proven experience in product ownership or product management, preferably in insurance or financial services.
• Strong ability to bridge technical and business stakeholders.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
• Demonstrated track record of delivering market‑leading products.
