Commercial Insurance Lines Account Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Insurance Lines Account Manager to join our owner‑led agency serving South Jersey and the greater Philadelphia market. You will manage a $3 million commercial book, handling renewals, endorsements, and day‑to‑day client needs while working closely with agency leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Manage an approximately $3 million commercial book of business.
• Process renewals, endorsements, certificates, and service requests.
• Market accounts to multiple carriers, reviewing appetite, pricing, and coverage fit.
• Support contractor, workers‑compensation, landlord, and other commercial exposures.
• Answer inbound new‑business calls and convert opportunities into placed accounts.
• Identify cross‑sell opportunities once familiar with the client base.
• Collaborate directly with clients, carriers, and internal staff in a small‑team environment.

Required profile

• 5–7 years of commercial lines account‑management experience.
• Proven ability to manage commercial accounts independently.
• Experience marketing accounts to multiple insurance carriers.
• Strong background with contractor and workers‑compensation business.
• Active New Jersey Property and Casualty license.
• Excellent client communication and sound account judgment.
