About the role

Amtrak is seeking dedicated individuals to join its team as Coach Cleaners in Springfield. You will be responsible for maintaining clean, safe, and regulation‑compliant interiors of train cars, ensuring a welcoming environment for passengers.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine light tidying and thorough deep‑cleaning of train car interiors.
• Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies in good working order.
• Collaborate with Onboard Services and other crew members to keep trains service‑ready.
• Occasionally interact with passengers in a professional manner.
• Adhere to safety protocols and union guidelines while working in varying weather conditions.

Required profile

• Ability to work night, weekend, and holiday shifts based on seniority.
• Willingness to work in high heat or cold environments as required.
