CNC Machine Operator – Carbide Cell (3rd Shift)

About the role

Join Bosch's Lincolnton Conversion, Customizing and Packaging Center as a Carbide Cell CNC Machine Operator on the 3rd shift. You will operate specialized CNC equipment to produce high‑quality power‑tool accessories, ensuring orders are fulfilled accurately and on time.

Key responsibilities

• Load, unload, and set up the Carbide Cell machine using basic hand tools and measuring devices.
• Adjust machine parameters, transfer files, and monitor production flow.
• Maintain machine cleanliness, blade and feed magazine loading, and overall tool organization.
• Inspect finished products for quality standards and identify root causes of any issues.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot common mechanical problems.

Required profile

• Ability to stand and be mobile for an 8‑hour shift.
• Good hand dexterity and the capacity to lift up to 40 lb.
• Strong reading comprehension for instructions, orders, and product prints.
• Basic math skills applicable to a machining environment.
• High school diploma or GED.

Required skills

• Proficiency with hand tools.
• Use of measuring devices such as dial indicators and calipers.
• Computer and software navigation ability.
• Reading and interpreting product prints.
