Clubhouse Public Area Attendant

About the role

The Summit Club, a Discovery Land Company property just outside Las Vegas, is looking for a Public Area Attendant to keep the clubhouse and its surrounding public spaces clean, safe, and welcoming for members and guests.

Key responsibilities

• Clean restrooms, foyer spaces, furniture, and all assigned public areas.
• Operate specialty equipment such as carpet extractors, ride‑on and walk‑behind floor scrubbers, burnishers, floor machines, lifts, wet/dry vacuums, and spotting machines.
• Polish, restore, seal, and maintain marble, granite, and other flooring surfaces.
• Perform high and low dusting of ceiling vents, wall decorations, and other fixtures.
• Move and clean under heavy furniture using hand trucks and flat‑bed carts.
• Handle chemical use and disposal safely, including bio‑hazard clean‑up.
• Assist with special event set‑up and tear‑down as needed.

Required profile

• Prior experience in hospitality, housekeeping, or related service roles.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Physical capability to lift, push, pull, and stand for long periods, occasionally handling items up to 75 lb.
• Strong communication skills and a professional, positive attitude.
