Cloud Engineer

About the role

Sage Care is seeking a hands‑on Cloud Engineer to design, scale, and secure the infrastructure behind its AI‑driven healthcare platform. The role sits at the core of the engineering delivery engine, collaborating closely with backend and AI teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain GCP infrastructure using Terraform, including GKE clusters across environments.
• Develop and operate CI/CD pipelines, optimize Bazel build configurations, and implement safe release strategies.
• Implement logging, monitoring, alerting, SLIs/SLOs, and incident response processes for Kubernetes workloads.
• Strengthen IAM, secrets management, and compliance controls to support HIPAA and SOC2 requirements.

Required profile

• 4–7+ years of DevOps, SRE, or Infrastructure Engineering experience.
• Hands‑on expertise with GCP, Kubernetes (preferably GKE), and Terraform.
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines and working with Bazel or similar build systems.
• Strong understanding of networking, IAM, and cloud security fundamentals.
