Closing Coordinator

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Closing Coordinator to support its credit origination business. The professional will manage the due‑diligence, pre‑closing and funding processes for commercial real‑estate loans, ensuring timely and compliant closings.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the central point of contact for external parties (borrowers, attorneys, tax and insurance consultants, title companies) to gather required documentation.
• Coordinate fund disbursement with internal teams in capital markets, accounting, finance and tax.
• Assemble, organize and maintain electronic credit files for compliance, audit and reporting purposes.
• Monitor closing timelines, track deliverables and resolve any issues that arise during the closing process.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in commercial real‑estate transactions, investment operations, or legal/financial coordination, preferably in an investment or development environment.
• Experience working with attorney‑prepared loan documentation.
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in a deadline‑driven environment.
