Clinical Veterinarian (Part‑time)

About the role

Texas A&M University’s College of Veterinary Medicine & Biomedical Sciences is seeking a part‑time Clinical Veterinarian to join the Veterinary Medical Teaching Hospital. The role involves providing comprehensive diagnostic and clinical care to client‑owned dogs and cats across a wide range of specialties.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver veterinary services in areas such as anesthesiology, cardiology, dentistry, dermatology, and diagnostic imaging.
• Perform emergency medicine, general and soft‑tissue surgery, and minimally invasive procedures.
• Provide internal medicine, neurology, oncology, ophthalmology, orthopedics, and primary care consultations.
• Support equine community practice, field service, sports medicine, rehabilitation, and theriogenology.
• Participate in food‑animal medicine and surgery when required.
• Collaborate with faculty, staff, and veterinary students in a teaching environment.

Required profile

• Graduates of an AVMA‑accredited veterinary college or holders of ECFVG certification.
• Eligible for a Texas veterinary license.
• Ability to work part‑time without need for non‑immigrant sponsorship.
• Strong commitment to teaching, research, and clinical excellence.
