Clinical Therapist (Part Time)

About the role
Arete Counseling Services seeks a part‑time Clinical Therapist to provide individual and group therapy, develop treatment plans, and support participants in a community‑based outpatient setting.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct weekly individual and group clinical sessions with program participants.
- Perform assessment, treatment, and discharge planning, including ongoing progress checks.
- Collaborate with direct‑care staff, attend clinical team meetings, and liaise with referring professionals.
Required profile
- License to practice in Vermont or enrollment on the non‑licensed roster.
- PhD/PsyD or Master’s in psychology, social work, mental health counseling, or related field.
- Interest or experience working with emerging adults and in wilderness or adventure‑based counseling.
Required skills
- Experience with Wilderness Therapy, Outdoor Recreation, Experiential Education, and Adventure‑Based Counseling.
