About the role
The Clinical Technician works night shifts in the 18‑bed Medical Intensive Care Unit, supporting high‑acuity patients and assisting the nursing team with basic care and equipment handling.
Key responsibilities
- Assist with patient care under RN supervision, including vital signs, weight, personal care, point‑of‑care testing, dressing changes, and applying/removing monitoring devices.
- Maintain clean and orderly patient rooms and report any abnormal physical, mental, or emotional findings to the RN.
Required profile
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA or Red Cross) obtained within the new‑hire period.
- At least one year of recent full‑time patient care experience, or equivalent education/training.
Required skills
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Ability to perform basic patient care tasks and operate point‑of‑care testing equipment.
