Clinical Specialist - Neurovascular (Stroke Devices)

About the role

Stryker is hiring a Clinical Specialist in Atlanta, Georgia, focused on its Acute Ischemic Stroke (AIS) and Hemorrhagic (HEM) portfolios. This is a field-based position that works closely with Territory Managers, Stroke Representatives, lab personnel, interventional radiologists, neurologists, neurosurgeons and hospital administrators to drive adoption of stroke care interventional products and expand the stroke care portfolio within hospitals.

Key responsibilities

• Capture market share in AIS and HEM portfolios and maximize use of stroke care interventional products in the assigned territory.
• Drive adoption and usage of acute ischemic stroke devices across the hospital system with Territory Managers.
• Run product evaluations aimed at account conversion and expand the stroke care product portfolio so the sales team can meet sales goals.
• Lead lab staff in servicing stroke cases: room setup and preparation, and best practices for case management, with an education focus on procedural steps and improved outcomes.
• Lead formal and informal product presentations and provide case coverage, primarily for acute ischemic stroke procedures and secondarily for scheduled aneurysm cases.
• Work on-call, with 50% travel, and cover open territories when needed.
• Become an expert across all stroke solutions, procedures, industry trends and competitive issues.
• Build strong relationships with NV Territory Managers and enabling functions.
• Manage administrative tasks, budgets, sales reporting and expense reporting, and establish a continuous improvement environment aligned with quality policy and regulations.
• Ensure employees are trained and that training is documented.

Required profile

• 4 or more years of clinical experience with a proven track record.
• Healthcare-related field strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of the lab environment preferred.

What we offer

• Base pay plus commission, starting at $130,000, with possible eligibility for additional commission and bonuses.
