About the role
Alcanzaclinical is seeking a Clinical Research Registered Nurse to support multi‑site, multi‑phase studies across a range of therapeutic areas. The role involves direct patient interaction, study drug handling, and compliance with regulatory standards.
Key responsibilities
- Screen patients, obtain informed consent, and schedule study visits.
- Perform clinical procedures such as venipuncture, injections, infusions, ECG/EKG, and vital sign collection.
- Collect, process, store, and ship laboratory specimens, including centrifuge operation.
- Enter and verify data in electronic data capture (EDC) systems and resolve queries.
- Maintain study documentation, source charts, logs, and supply inventories.
- Report adverse events, SAE/Deviation reports, and ensure timely investigator review.
- Assist with study start‑up activities, site initiation visits, and investigator meetings.
Required profile
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Experience conducting clinical research procedures in compliance with GCP, ICH, HIPAA, and FDA regulations.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work collaboratively with site teams.
Required skills
- Venipuncture and phlebotomy.
- ECG/EKG acquisition.
- Specimen collection, centrifuge operation, and specimen shipping.
- Electronic Data Capture (EDC) system usage.
- Knowledge of GCP, ICH, HIPAA, and FDA regulatory requirements.
