Clinical Research Coordinator – On‑Site

About the role

The Clinical Research Coordinator will manage and execute all activities related to clinical trials at Ochsner Health. This on‑site position involves coordinating patient care, liaising with sponsors, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Organize recruitment strategies, screen participants, and obtain informed consent.
• Coordinate patient activities, schedule tests, and report results to the Principal Investigator.
• Maintain study documentation, enter data into sponsor systems, and resolve queries.
• Communicate with sponsors for site initiation, maintenance, and close‑out of studies.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3 years of clinical research experience (or 2 years with ACRP/SOCRA certification).
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Ability to travel between facilities and work flexible hours, including on‑call, weekends, and nights.

Required skills

• Working knowledge of ICH guidelines and ethical conduct of research.
• Proficiency with Epic and other web‑based clinical trial applications.
• Experience with sponsor‑specific data entry systems and query resolution.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
